Wedding Photographer in Copehagen: Dragør engagement session
September 26, 2019
As a wedding and engagement photographer I love working in Copenhagen. There is a small fishing village near the airport called Dragør and if you like thatched roofs, masses of flowers, yellow cottages and a ton of hygge, well this makes the best backdrop for photos. It’s why Emma and Nicolai chose this for their engagement session last autumn. Emma is American and Nicolai is Danish. They met 7 years ago when he was an exchange student. Their relationship lasted the distance and now Emma lives and works in Copenhagen. The got married this summer. You can soon see the blog here.
We met early one Sunday morning, when most Danes are still in bed and walked around the small cobblestoned streets only meeting the occasional dog walker. The weather was crisp and cool, but perfect with no wind. We started in the town where the houses are from the 1700s and 1800s. It is one of the best preserved towns in Denmark. From there we walked out to the Dragør fort that overlooks Øresund and the bridge to Sweden.
